This is an introductory level class suitable for those with little to no dance experience, as well as those with some dance training. The first half of each class will consist of a basic jazz warm-up and stretching while the second half will focus on learning fun jazz dance combinations. Proper form and alignment will be emphasized, as will learning to move to the music and HAVING FUN moving and dancing in our bodies, big, small, or anywhere in between!!
Jazz shoes, dance sneakers, or ballet slippers are highly recommended, but not required. If you do not have any of these, please bring a pair of flexible sneakers. Be sure to wear clothing you are comfortable moving and sweating in, and of course, bring plenty of water.
