baby steps to the finsih line

cassidyroseI dredged up the deadline dates for completing my thesis and the obscene amount of paperwork to go with it. Bleah. Why, why, why, do I have to fill out form after form after form? The worst part about this whole thesis business is that I have to interact with people I don't really like interacting with.
I also finally reviewed what I did lat spring before things really went crazy nuts with our lives and I lost all steam and motivation. I am happy to discover that I did quite a bit more than I thought I had. I have a good chunk of my IRB proposal written, and a good bit of the actual survey instrument developed.
My biggest roadblock to getting all this done is getting the profs to work with me. The profs where I attend school are mostly overloaded and getting ahold of them can be very difficult. I also work during the day and getting to campus is a big pain in the ass (nearly zero parking, and no public transit from where I work) so that makes everything more difficult. That said, I am emailing professor's tonight to ask about meeting this week. I will finish typing up the scales tomorrow and finish my IRB proposal. I will officially enroll in school next week in time for the "late enrollment" deadline. I will get my stupid canidacy form submitted the week following.
