...especially when working with the guerrilla seamstress, a person who has not sewn a stitch in her life, another who has not used a sewing machine in 14 years, another who is very confused by patterns, pattern sizes that make no sense or seem to have any relation to the measurements they are supposed to fit, countless pieces of patterns strewn about the house, necklines that refuse to work, an extra trip to the fabric store, more than one mistake, a sunday deadline, much frustration, much punchiness...

...and you get me and my cohorts in Oakland working on costumes until midnight.

At least I finally got some food, at the lovely hour of 2am. Full day of work ahead of my tomorrrow, along with a full dance night.

Yikes.

I'm tired.

Oo boy, late night costuming sessions! I remember a bunch of those from my work with the Saratoga Drama Group. I did get a new friend out of it. Something about pulling all nighters with the chaos of many things under construction builds a bond...

Yeah, the four of us who are working on this project have been working together for nearly a year now and we have quite the bond as a result.
