well that was irritating
Jun. 25th, 2002 11:09 amI wrote a post last night and apparently LJ ate it. I submitted it then I got a message that my journal was "read only" while the database was updating. The post never appeared and it seems to be lost in space.
Frustrating.
The gist of the post was this:
I was at the theater for 5 hours last night for my dance studio's dress rehersal (shows are today and tomorrow). Two of my four run-throughs went well; the other two were disasters. I keep trying to remind myself that everything usually comes together for the show, so I am trying not to worry. I am frustrated, however, because I can't control that some people freak out when dancing in a new environment, don't pay enough attention, and don't integrate notes well enough. Grr. I just hope everything comes together tonight.
I know dress rehersals typically suck, but it is still aggravating.
I was very tired, cranky, and hungry by the time I got home last night (nearly midnight), I had to re-iron my costumes which was a pain in the arse. I made myself my ultimate comfort food (mac and cheese casserole) and ate too much of it and stayed up too late watching Homicide. I fell asleep on the couch and I am stil very, very tired.
My show call is at 5 today. I am trying to convince myself it will all turn out OK. I am ready, I just hope everyone else gets their butts in gear and gets ready.
Frustrating.
