Rehearsal in a bit. We have thirteen dancers this season which is far more than we have ever had. It is very, very exciting, but also presents new challenges (like space and keeping track of everyone). Hopefully we will see Michael after for lunch and hanging out. I need to get produce at Market Hall toady. Somehow we are almost out of apples. The kids, they eat a lot.
Later tonight we need to finish putting the bedroom back together. We got our new bedroom furniture yesterday...two dressers and two nightstands and they are gorgeous and so functional. I got most everything in the dressers, but there is still stuff to sort and organize. But, holy crap, furniture that didn't come in a box that we did not have to assemble. S. was very impressed by it and said, Your room looks like a hotel with such fine furniture and such fine books." He loves hotels so that is high praise. He is also in love with the cedar smell (cedar drawers!). He also put a boot about Egyptian language in the drawer of Peter's new nightstand, "like they do at the hotel" he said. This amused me greatly.

Tennis tomorrow morning with my friend. I just started playing again and am loving it. My knees are not loving it so much, but whatever. I had not picked up a racket in a little over twenty years. I am using my high school racekt (I played for the first two years of high school). I was really shocked to find that I can still serve and actually hit the ball. Rest of tomorrow is somewhat still up for grabs. We really need a new bedframe but shopping for that with the kids is not really fun. We also need to do S.'s project for his science fair.

Other things on the list: register for NOlOSE, get our plane tickets, and book our hotel rooms. Yes, we are leaving the kids for a whole damned weekend and going to Portland for NOLOSE in July. It will be the first time we leave them for that long (three days). They are going to stay with our parents. While I am kinda sad NOLOSE is not local to us this year, I am also excited that it is far enough away that we don't have to come home at all during the conference. Also really glad it is nto that far so it will be a short plane ride. We also need to seriously start looking for someone to hire to get the back yard done. So much work to do.

Gotta run.
