hoto of the day for today: Rocks and Water. OK, so I am not 100% certain at which location I shot this, but I shot it on the Tidepools and Trails workshop I did with Joe back in December. It is somewhere between Bean Hollow and Half Moon Bay. I originally bypasseed this photo as the color sucked and looked unremarkable. I brought it to B&W and liked it a whole lot better. I like both the composition and depth of field here.

Thanks. I think the splash really helps make the photo dynamic, which as I type it sounds like stating the obvious, but it really adds motion to an otherwise fairly calm scene.
