my cube, the cave

I just got in to work and discovered that the overhead lighting in my area is out. I am not amused. I have a cube light which is making it possible to see barely enough to work, but it is rather difficult. I called facilities and reported the problem--apparently no one else bothered to call before I did which is a bit odd as some people have been here for a couple of hours already. I guess it is that diffusion of responsibility thing. Anyhow, I hope the problem gets fixed soon or I may have to go get some candles ;-P
