getting shit done

cassidyroseI am feeling rather accomplished as I managed to get two major things done at school today. I acquired the official verification paperwork that shows I was enrolled at least half-time last semester. I can now send it off to Sallie Mae (after photo copying it) and get the mess with my student loans cleared up. I also got the secret codes from the psych department so I could enroll in my thesis units, which I promptly did on the very slow and cranky computers in the school library. So, I now am officially working on my thesis--yay!!! Oh yeah, if I forgot to mention, I got my first choice as a thesis chair, so I am pretty happy about that. Now all I have to do is pay for this semester and file my application for promotion to canidacy paperwork.

catzen's EDD paperwork.
I plan to pay a bunch of bills this afternoon, which will make me feel better. And we finally finished that load of laundry I started on Monday.
I realize that getting these tasks completed is typically a fairly minor thing; however, our lives have been turned upside down the past month due tocatzen's father's major health issues and long hospitalization, and accomplishing anything outside the hospital has been a massive effort.
Next on my list of things to do is to figure out some way to alleviate the pain in my shoulders and back. It woke me up again this morning and continues to be incredibly uncomfortable. Yeach.
