milestone

In the past week L. slept eight hours straight on two separate occasions without waking. We are quite impressed. Last night was one of those nights and after he got up to nurse and stayed up for about 90 minutes (including nursing time) he went back to sleep for three hours...we actually had to wake him up to get going with our day. Most nights he has been going 6-7 without waking then he nurses and goes back down for 2-4 hours.

This one is a sleeper.

We are not complaining.

another farm day

Spent some time out at Ardenwood Farm today. It was Johnny Appleseed day and we missed most the apple-related activities due to a late star, but S. did get to participate in the apple tasting (he declared the Red Delicious his favorites) and was quite delighted. catzen joined us which was nice. S. participated in the afternoon animal feeding program which was fun for him. The new lambs at the farm as disgustingly cute. Just love them. L. did great and enjoyed looking around and getting fresh air.

Yesterday we had to do special project maintenance at S.'s school which went OK but we were working outside and it got really windy and cool late in the afternoon. We treated ourselves to a super falafel feast out after that.

And that is the extent of our exciting lives at the moment.
