weird transitions
Jun. 12th, 2009 01:26 amI really feel like we have entered the world of school-age with S. He's been in preschool since March, just two days a week. It is a parent participation co-op which means we have to work in the classroom one day a week plus do other duties (we clean the school once a month) all for much cheaper tuition than most preschools. Being so involved does mean we really feel like part of the school. Anyhow, we have reached the end of the year and had our class party Tuesday night. I suddenly felt like my mom making my enchiladas to bring to the potluck.
ptor and I just got done assembling the roasted potato salad (stills needs to broiled in the morning) and making the kiwi-tomato salsa for the school-wide end of the year picnic tomorrow. It is weird how quickly we have transitioned into parents of a school-going child and all the things it entails.
It is just a glimmer of what is to come. He is so not a baby anymore.
