Wednesday recap

I took S. out to Ardenwood Farm today. It is still mostly in its winter state with a lot of construction and maintenance happening for the big spring-summer season. The first lambs were born last week and we saw them today and they are ridiculously adorable. Lot of peafowl roaming around. A peahen jumped up on the picnic table we were snacking at and S. became rather indignant, ordering, "Peacock, get down! Peacock, get off the table! Peacock, get OFF!" We had fun and the weather was wonderful so we soaked up the sun.

This afternoon I did my IRA contribution at the bank and worked on some other business. We had a walk this evening and potato-fennel-leek soup and steamed artichokes for dinner. The artichokes were really good and S. was freakishly excited about them. We like our thistles around here.

School tomorrow morning then another doctor's appointment for S. as we think his ears may still be clogged with fluid. ptor has an in-person interview tomorrow after a successful phone-screen today. ::fingers crossed::

Speaking of crossing fingers, I put in my pre-sale request with the powers that be for two tickets to the one California show Phish is playing this summer. I am so, so hoping I get tickets. I am so excited they are on tour again.

That is about all. I am feeling really sore from dance last night which means I need to be doing more.
