maybe some good news

My sister called me today to tell me that her landlord in New Orleans called to tell them their house was still standing, intact, with their belongings inside. Of course, they cannot get to there, but there is some hope that they will be able to salvage some of their things. So, some good news, maybe.

In not so good news, I am so incredibly horrifed by the horrible conditions so many people have been left to rot in. It sickens me.
