People are putting in a wall downstairs, and using a nail gun to attach to concrete. But the nails-on-chalkboard tortured-metal 'screeee-onk" sounds are the most amusing.
I loathe construction noises, especially at work, or when I am at home trying to sleep.
Some sort of major work involving jackhammers is occuring on a road very near our house. It starts every morning sometime around 7 or 8 am. I do not typically wake up that early.
