Bodies in Motion VI--THIS WEEKEND

Our sixth Bodies in Motion concert is THIS WEEKEND at CounterPULSE is San Francisco. If you can make it all you should go. All the dancers, including [livejournal.com profile] kineticphoenix have been working very hard. I will also add that I have been working very hard managing and helping to produce this show, even with a cranky newborn. I will not be dancing, but I will be at the show each night. In addition, [livejournal.com profile] catzen will be playing music he composed for one of our pieces. Please join us.

Produced by Big Moves every year since 2001, Bodies in Motion has become an important movement laboratory for choreographers interested in exploring the real artistic and technical possibilities of dance placed on larger bodies. This year's program features Mass Movement in the world premiere of "Lonely House" by the award-winning choreographer Maxine Moerman, as well as a return to earlier works by Chris Black and Tara Brandel. Guest performers are longtime Big Moves collaborators Dandelion Dancetheater, performing excerpts from "ANICCA".

Please note: this show contains nudity. This location is wheelchair accessible.

The photo on the flier is gorgeous! I so wish I were close enough to come see Big Moves sometime. :(
