storm damage

Huge storms here all week. So far we have sustained the following damages: several fence board blown down (damned landlord refuses to replace the damned thing--we gave our concerned neighbor who shares the fence our landlord's contact info.), huge branch from front yard tree cracked off and landed on lawn (Peter cut it up and disposed of it), umbrella completely failed and snapped in pieces in the rain and wind yesterday, and water leaking into our bedroom closet from unknown source, but really, it shouldn't be raining *inside*. Nothing too major, just annoying. It has been a crazy week here in terms of the weather--hopefully things will calm down soon.
