I've been missing out

I can't believe I didn't notice fatshionista until today. So many rockin' fat people in one place--it makes me happy.

mall, glasses, bras and OUCH!

Today was an afternoon of many errands. Deposited my check at the bank, stopped by the hospital to sign up and pay for our childbirth classes (also got information on the CPR classes), stopped by my eye doctor's to get a copy of my prescription and off to the mall. I really loathe the mall but I needed to get some new glasses and there is a Lens Crafters there and I desperately needed some new bras to get me through the next couple of months (I am popping out of my pre-pregnancy bras) before I move to nursing bras for the next ::mumble:: years. So, I went eyeglass shopping and got a great new pair of regular glasses and a pair of prescription glasses (I was lucky that I happened to get a $100 off each pair coupon in the mail as I was heading out the door). I have never had prescription sunglasses before--if I was going to be outside much I would just wear my contacts and non-prescription sunglasses. However, sometimes I don't want to wear my contacts and am more comfy in glasses, hence, the prescription sunglasses. I surprised ptor with my new glasses when I got home and he is quite taken by both pairs. While I was waiting for my glasses I went to Lane Bryant and got some new bras. Honestly, I am a bit frightened that I am wearing a DD cup now and still have 17 weeks of pregnancy to go. The boobs are really starting to get in the way and be very uncomfortable. Urgh. I also got a couple of plain black t-shirts that are very boring but will probably fit me through the end of pregnancy. While at LB my feet started killing me. By the time I got back to Lens Crafters and sat down I noticed my feet had started swelling up through the straps on my Mary Janes. And my knees and back and hips really started to hurt. I am clearly beyond being able to stand around for three hours and not be in pain. The joint softening and swelling is here and I need to be mindful of that. I am still hurting, hours after I got home. Not fun.

But fun was had tonight. ptor and I had dinner at Massimos tonight and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I satisifed my bruschetta craving and it was wonderful. And ptor has leftover chicken he can share with Harlie.

I have more thoughtful posts to post, but right now I am wiped and hurting and just burnt from the week. New glasses pics will come soon.
