Bodies in Motion is tonight and tomorrow night and I encourage all to check it out. For added enticement, here are the top ten reasons why you should come to our show:
- You will be supporting local art and theater. CounterPULSE's mission is to support community-based art and they are doing a gret job of that by keeping rental rates low.
- I do things on stage that, in their own subtle way, would freak out the most jaded public transit riders. You don't want to miss it.
- It is a chance to see world premiere dance by not only Mass Movement, but also our guest artist Alexandra Beller.
- Speaking of public transit, CounterPULSE is conveniently located a couple of blocks from the Civic Center Station.
- You don't have to fly to New York to see a fantastic New York-based dancer.
- Two words: blow-up dolls
- You will be supporting Big Moves
- Two more words: dessert reception
- You will become more culturally enriched. This ain't no Friday night at the cineplex. ;)
- You will laugh, you might cry, and you most certainly will be entertained

The only dance concert series in the world to showcase plus-sized dancers returns for its triumphant fifth season, with new works by Chris Black and Ann Woodhead set on Mass Movement, Big Moves' modern dance company, and Alexandra Beller, formerly of Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane, appears in her West Coast solo debut, with the world premiere of a set of politically charged solos. Post-performance reception follows each night.
