We took a trip to Rasputin today and got a bunch of new CDs, including:

• three Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals albums (I'd been missing him sorely as my ex got custody of those CDs)


• MixMaster Mike


• Morphine


• New York Dolls


• Rammstein


• Fat Boy Slim (my favorite of his that I lost sometime last year)


• Tori Amos


• Taj Majal (live!)


• Nine Inch Nails


• Ministry ("A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste"--such a great album)

Yay!

Sadly, there was no new to me live Phish to grab. Time for a trip to Amoeba for that purpose.

I am working on ripping the new CDs so I can have new music to listen to at work tomorrow.

And Ben Harper's re-working of Maya Angelou's "And I'll Rise" is still one of the most beautiful songs I've heard.
