Big Moves is having our fourth annual "A Taste for Dance" chocolate tasting and performance showcase fund raiser on Saturday February 5th, 2005, from 7-9:30pm at the First Unitarian Church in Oakland. In addition to lots of yummy chocolate, coffee, and tea, there will be hip-hop, jazz, modern, and burlesque dance performances, as well as a fashion show (we are working on getting a lingerie fashion show) for your enjoyment. And, on a more personal note, this will mark my return to the stage after being sidelined for over a year due to a foot injury. I will be performing with our hip-hop company, as well as a jazz solo, and possibly a bit of modern. Woo-hoo! The funds raised from this show will go directly to producing Bodies in Motion 5, slated for October of 2005. Tickets for "A Taste for Dance" will go on sale online next week at http://www.bigmoves.org . Advance tickets are $17 (at the door they will be $20). Ticket price includes unlimited chocolate buffet, drinks (coffee, tea, water), salty snacks at the tables, and all the wonderful performances Big Moves and our affiliates can muster.
